This Friday, I’ll be speaking at a special session on Corona at the Global Mobile Internet Conference.

Over 5,000+ developers, entrepreneurs, and executives from over 40 countries will be attending. This is Asia’s most influential mobile conference. Some of the hottest startups and companies from around the world will be attending.

The last couple months saw Carlos and Walter hopping all around the country to Corona meetups in New York, Florida, and Texas. Despite their tireless schedules, the meetup bug has hit Team Ansca again — but we wanna keep this next one a little closer to home.  So, next week, we’ll be having a Corona meetup here, at Ansca HQ in Silicon Valley! The last couple times we did this, it was incredible! We loved getting to meet you guys and finally putting a face to your Twitter @handles. Adding to our already-packed December meetup schedule, (Carlos in sunny Florida!) our very own Walter will be at a Corona SDK meetup next week in Dallas, Texas! To keep some semblance of crowd control, only a limited number of tickets to attend are available. You can get yours for free below…

A couple weeks ago, Walter went to a couple Corona meetups in New York, talking to developers and even taking some hard-hitting questions along the way. Now, Carlos is heading a little further south along the East Coast and will be attending three meetups in Florida next month! Last week, our very own Walter visited the Empire State! While there, he took part in two meetups: One in Rochester, NY and another in New York City with the Flash Coders NY (FCNY) group.   Our very own Walter is currently trekking the newly whitened East Coast. This week, he’ll be at Corona events in New York — both, city and state! First is upstate NY. Walter will be at what organizers have simply named “The Big Corona Event” at the Strathallan Hotel in Rochester tomorrow, November 1 from 6:00-9:00pm. Attendees will be able to win free copies of Corona and also will receive top-secret coupon codes to get [censored]% off their yearly Corona subscription. As you’ve probably seen by now, we have quite a  large and heavily active community around Corona SDK. Naturally, after troubleshooting and features, the biggest topic we get questions about is how to succeed and monetize once your app is in stores. Yes, we’ve featured previous posts on here before about app monetization, marketing, and even brainstorming a successful app idea. But you’ve never really heard straight from us, in much detail, about how to go about making cold, harsh cash from your apps. Well, until now! Here we are, coming to you live from CTIA’s Enterprise & Applications 2011 conference at the San Diego Convention Center! Before I proceed, I must apologize to any of you reading this from cold weather climates, as it’s warm and ridiculously sunny outside. Anyway, Samsung invited us to be part of their technology showcase here, at CTIA.  We have prime real estate on the exhibition floor because Samsung’s presence is huge!  Their space on the exhibition floor is gigantic with several companies represented, built-in conference rooms, and interesting displays of Samsung wireless technology. In fact, the lanyards around everyone’s necks even have the Galaxy S II on them. It’s been great meeting so many Corona developers at the show.  I’ve heard a lot about some great apps and games made
