Crafting unique sounds and interesting music for your apps is no small feat. Sounds are a hugely important component of a great app, and we’re partnering with SupaSounds to make the music and sound selection process a little easier.

SupaSounds specializes in 30-second sound and music loops, and boast an inventory of over 250 loopable options. If your app reaches the Top 25 in the U.S. App Store or Android Market, they’ll even “lock” the music you used so that it can’t be purchased by anyone else.

We’re kicking off our partnership with a Twitter contest! One lucky winner will receive a 6-month Corona Pro license and $150 of credit to snag some sounds from SupaSounds’ library. Contest starts today, Thursday, July 5 – read on for more information!

2. Tweet this message: “I entered the #CoronaSupaSounds Twitter contest for a chance to win a 6-month #CoronaSDK Pro license w/ $150 in sounds.”

An interesting partnership… is there any sort of benefit for Corona users aside from the sweepstakes?

    Yes, I’m selfish.

85$ dollar for a 30 sec low quality mp3 that you can do with garage band in 5 minutes?
    Is this for serious?

This is the most expensive music website I’ve ever seen. The music isn’t even that great!

Why pay nearly $100 per song when you can find a decent freelance musician to make custom music (as in, compose music specifically for you at your request) for around the same price?

    Check out:
http://sakari-infinity.net – The music there is free non-commercial, but there are a lot of good freelance musician contacts there.

http://audiojungle.net – Get 4 times more music as this place. Who cares if someone else can use it in their game?

Couple of notes about this article…. If you hit the tweet button above, it produces a tweet too long to tweet:

Next, clicking on the SuperSounds link to visit their site goes to:

which gives a 4040 error. Why not just link to http://www.suprasounds.net?
