Graphically unique and super fun to play, this week’s recognition goes to Ivick Von Salza – Gathering Pieces, based on an international children’s cartoon called Ivick Von Salza – The Little Lumberjack.

When a little boy named Ivick and his portly pet pig, Malta, accidentally destroy the lumberjack’s wood-hacking machine, they’re instructed to collect all the pieces scattered throughout the snowy town. Through 30 levels, your objective is to fling Ivick and Malta from a slingshot towards the target piece and collect floating baseballs along the way to earn extra points. Aiming to make a perfect arch, you get four chances to land your character at the target, while making sure to avoid obstacles including trees, cliffs, sleds and more.

I loved being a part of Ivick’s and Malta’s adventure – the storyline is fun, the silly characters get you hooked, and both the graphics and sounds are super unique. The game is easy to learn, but tough to master – it’s challenging to get just the right amount of force to perfectly shoot your character towards the target.

Ivick Von Salza – Gathering Pieces sells for $.99 at the App Store. Once you fall in love with the game, you can even purchase a shirt that features the adventurous duo!

    Hi,

We work together with the guys who produced the TV show, that’s the reason for such a great video. By the way, it’s a little mistake in the note, the game it’s free for memorial day only(05/28) but it sells regulary for 99 cents at app store.

Thanks everybody for your kindly comments!!!
