You guys (our users) just had to do it, didn’t ya?
Over the weekend, we realized that your Corona SDK-made apps have been downloaded well over 10 million times this year — and it’s only March! On top of that, we’re now seeing several apps of yours starting to top App Store charts around the world…
- Float by Crawl Space: #1 Kids Game in 38 countries, Top 5 overall app in 20 countries
- Blöki by Driftlab: #1 Top Free Education iPad App in the U.S.
- ROBOT 99 by Fu-Design: #3 Top Paid Family Game in Taiwan
- 22Learn‘s entire suite of educational apps: #1, 3, 4, and 5 in Top Paid iPad Apps in the Czech Republic — seriously!
…And who knows, by the time I schedule this blogpost to go up, there could even be more!
Subsequently, we’ve been getting lots of requests by bigger and bigger agencies and studios who are making some very high-profile apps (top secret!) and need assistance with coding or other functions in Corona. Of course, as most of you already know, our forums are an excellent place for the Corona community to help each other over whatever hurdles they may encounter in their coding endeavors.
However, sometimes, stuff needs to be answered quickly, as a lot of money and/or reputation (ooooh! aaaah!) may be riding on a tight deadline. If this describes your organization, you will love our new Premium Support.
Premium Support will allow opting-in developers to have instant access to the Ansca staff for troubleshooting matters. Rather than risk delaying your crucial deadline or project while waiting for an answer in the forums, you’re guaranteed access to an Ansca engineer within 48 hours who will work with you personally to fine-tune your app and get it out to the masses.
Of course, not everyone will need this — users in our Corona Community have helped many a developer create top-selling apps already, and we have full faith that will not change. However, for those of you (we expect this primarily to be companies, not mere individuals) who need particular and immediate service, you can now go Premium!
More details on Premium Support can be found here.
